CAPTAIN COOK
In the 1960s, Rado created a distinctive, functional and fun sub-styled watch, the Captain Cook.
With its circular case and the innovative inclined bezel, it was an immediate success. The arrow and sword shaped hands under the "bubble" of the glass and the simple leather strap made it a simple and practical watch. It was both classic and practical, embracing the spirit of the times.
The familiar, innovative angled bezel is now made of high-tech ceramic and the sapphire crystal replaces the glass
used in the 60s. These two elements offer scratch resistance but retain the original appearance of the Captain Cook.
The result is an authentically vintage and at the same time captivating and contemporary watch. Made for modern explorers, it is already making its way into the heart of a new generation of watch enthusiasts.
