Deep Black

Exploring the depths of the ocean, OMEGA has expanded its ceramic expertise to create the Seamaster Planet Ocean "Deep Black". This extraordinary 45.5mm timepiece was born from the combination of a GMT model with a diving watch, in an all-black version to represent the ocean at a depth of 300 meters.

Brilliant and brushed, the case is made from a single block of ceramic, the same material used for the unidirectional bezel and the dial with Arabic numerals.

This model is complemented by a new GMT ring on the dial, while the graduated scale and OMEGA logo on the crown are decorated in Liquidmetal ™. The hands, in 18K white gold, are coated with white Super-LumiNova. Another OMEGA absolute novelty, the screw-down caseback oriented in such a way that the engraved text retains its position. This feature is achieved thanks to OMEGA's new patented Naiad Lock ceramic closure.

Other features include a screw-down caseback with honeycomb pattern and a black rubber strap with contrast stitching and antibacterial treatment on the lining. The Planet Ocean "Deep Black" is water resistant to 600 meters / 60 bar and is powered by the OMEGA caliber 8906 Master Chronometer. To obtain the status of Master Chronometer, it has passed the 8 rigorous tests established by METAS (Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology) .
