Paying homage to its tradition of diving watches, OMEGA launched the Planet Ocean collection in 2005. Today the elegant OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Master Chronometer pays homage to OMEGA's diving watch heritage.

This model, fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, features a sandblasted grade 5 titanium dial with Arabic numerals and a date window at 6 o'clock. The dial houses a small seconds dial, as well as the 60-minute and 12-hour counters on one dial for an intuitive reading of elapsed time. The 45.5 mm grade 5 titanium case mounts the brand new gray silicon nitride ceramic bezel with orange rubber and Liquidmetal ™ graduated scale.

Other features include a screw-down case back with honeycomb pattern and a grade 5 titanium bracelet complete with a patented extendable folding clasp.

The OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Master Chronometer Chronograph is water resistant to 600 meters / 60 bar (2000 feet) and is equipped with a helium valve. The OMEGA Master Chronometer caliber 9900 that animates this timepiece is visible through the transparent caseback. To achieve Master Chronometer status, it passed the 8 strict tests established by METAS (Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology).
