As a tribute to its maritime heritage, OMEGA launched the Planet Ocean collection in 2005. These exclusive models continue to celebrate the brand's diving watchmaking heritage today.

This 45.5mm stainless steel model features a ceramic-coated titanium dial with a small seconds counter and date window, as well as a 60-minute and 12-hour counter at 3 o'clock. The button rings and unidirectional bezel with scale graduated filled in liquid ceramic and Super-LumiNova are made of orange ceramic.

Other features include a honeycomb patterned screw-down caseback and an orange, gray and white 5-stripe polyamide NATO strap complete with a polished buckle and stainless steel loops.

The timepiece is water resistant to 600 meters / 60 bar and equipped with a helium escape valve. The OMEGA Master Chronometer caliber 9900 that animates this timepiece is visible through the transparent caseback. To achieve the status of Master Chronometer, it passed the series of 8 rigorous tests established by METAS (Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology).
