In honor of its tradition of diving watches, in 2005 OMEGA launched the Planet Ocean collection. The elegant OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M pays homage to OMEGA's diving watch heritage. This model, fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, features a black dial with a date window at 3 o'clock. The unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel is mounted on a 37.5mm stainless steel case accompanied by a stainless steel bracelet. The OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M is water resistant to 60 bar (600 meters / 2000 feet) and is equipped with a helium valve. The OMEGA Co-Axial caliber 8520 that animates this timepiece is visible through the transparent caseback.
