Limited to just 500 units, the Portugieser Hand-Wound Monopusher Edition "Laureus Sport for Good" is the 14th Laureus special edition from IWC and the first Portugieser with monopusher chronograph. The dial, in the iconic Laureus blue color, features the characteristic Portugieser minute scale, applied Arabic numerals and thin leaf hands. The hand-wound IWC-manufactured 59360 caliber offers a high eight-day power reserve. The functional monopusher chronograph can be started, stopped or reset through a single button integrated in the crown. Timed times appear in a counter at "12 o'clock". The small seconds are at "6 o'clock", while the power reserve indicator is positioned at "9 o'clock". The engraving on the back of the watch portrays the winning design of the competition that IWC organizes every year as part of the international Laureus projects. It was created by 15-year-old Yi Xin, one of the participants in the Special Olympics China games.
