The special edition pays tribute to the Atlantic crossing of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, which took place 80 years ago. In 1939, the French writer and pilot flew from Biscarrosse to New York aboard the Latécoère 521, the seaplane renamed "Lieutenant de Vaisseau Paris". This model is in fact limited to 80 specimens. The dial and ring of the cities in the Timezoner mechanism are tobacco-colored, a reference to the color of the flight suits of the Saint-Exupéry era. The Timezoner function allows you to set another time zone by simply rotating the bezel. The hour hand, 24-hour hand and date also adjust automatically. Paris and New York - the time zones that marked the beginning and end of Saint-Exupéry's journey - appear in red on the city ring. The watch is powered by the IWC-manufactured 89760 caliber, with manual winding and 68-hour range.
