DESCRIPTION
With a diameter of 44mm, this new chronograph is housed in a carbon glass case. Made up of layers of carbon fiber and glass fiber that are subjected to high temperatures and pressures, the housing material eventually becomes homogeneous. Unlike any other manufacturing process of other types of carbon, this innovation guarantees complete waterproofness. The resulting case exhibits a matte, slightly textured finish. Interestingly, the constituent layers create irregular layers within the material that are randomly aligned, making each watch unique. The bezel uses the same manufacturing process as the case, however it is further enhanced with electric blue hues that emphasize the octagonal shape typical of Girard-Perregaux. On this occasion, the Absolute Wired Laureato is limited to just 88 pieces, offering a remarkable degree of exclusivity.
Girard-Perregaux has equipped this emblematic case with its self-winding chronograph movement. In addition to guaranteeing impeccably accurate timekeeping, it stands out for its convenient power reserve and particularly gentle activation of its buttons. Its watchmaking qualities are complemented by exemplary finishes including "Côtes de Genève", bevel and straight grain, all resulting from the many skills cultivated within the Manufacture.
