Girard-Perregaux brings to life a more dazzling creation than ever, an alliance between fine watchmaking craftsmanship and the art of gem-setting. Here, the famous ellipse - a hallmark of the Maison's women's collection - becomes a glittering work of art, made even more sublime by diamonds and sapphires in their most precious expression.
The creation of this masterpiece required no less than 316 diamonds and 94 blue sapphires. The precious and exceptional character of this timepiece is further enhanced by the case studded with 23 baguette diamonds and 54 blue sapphires that reach up to the lugs, creating contours that also recall the sense of touch. In the center, a sumptuously paved dial where each of the precious stones - 286 diamonds of various cuts (totaling 2.05 carats) and 40 baguette sapphires - dominated the highest level of craftsmanship. Once the meeting is over, each stone is individually shaped in the assigned cut: baguette, trapezoid, brilliant.
