The Girard-Perregaux manufacture has always applied its know-how in the original collections where each watch has a unique harmony. The 1966 collection, with delicately rounded sides and whose round shape evokes the first pocket watches, pays tribute to some of its most emblematic models. In 1966, Girard-Perregaux presented the first watch equipped with a high frequency movement, beating at 36,000 vibrations, which was to achieve exceptional performance in terms of precision. The 1966 collection is inspired by this period by incorporating the Manufacture's commitment to innovation, which is expressed by automatic calibers and particularly well-worked cases.
