A model that follows the design spirit of the watches of the 60s and a tribute to Girard-Perregaux's technical progress in the field of chronometry, crowned by the Neuchâtel Observatory Centenary Prize. A contemporary and innovative vision of a brand classic, reinvented for a journey of 149 million kilometers from earth to sky. This odyssey inspired his limited edition number 149. A black DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) treatment for the case and a rubber coated alligator leather strap transport this timeless model in a completely new dimension. In line with its long tradition, the Girard-Perregaux manufacture has equipped this model with a proven mechanical movement, the GP3300 caliber, whose final improvement boasts no less than five different finishes. The plate and bridges are meticulously elongated, beveled, engraved, circular grain and adorned with Côtes de Genève. The blued steel screws and golden engravings are visible thanks to the sapphire crystal case back.
