MARCO BICEGO
Artisan quality is the mantra of the company, and has been passed down from generation to generation, as is done with family traditions
The uniqueness of Marco Bicego jewels is also dictated by the hands of master craftsmen who draw by hand with ancient techniques revisited in a modern key, such as the burin, an ancient tool used by master goldsmiths to engrave gold by hand. This process is what characterizes and has given fame to Marco Bicego jewels together with the artisan spiral gold workmanship, exclusive to Marco Bicego, a distinctive element of some of his collections.
Gold, diamonds and natural gems all different from each other are combined and in order to create always unique combinations. The amethyst, topaz, tourmaline, aquamarine and quartz that coexist with the 18K gold of his masterpieces are living matter. Marco looks for these gems in his travels, chooses them and shapes them. They enclose the imperfections of nature and its chameleon-like beauty, which is why hers are versatile and timeless jewels.
The authenticity of Bicego's masterpieces lies not only in the handmade, but in the organic nature of the shapes they have. Nature is beautiful because it is imperfect, in its imperfection there is harmony, balance, fluidity. This is what Marco puts into his intuitions, and which the craftsmen bring back to the finished jewel.
